A little swamp saga
Gooby starts life at the bottom of the jar — more interested in books than swimming, a little overlooked and a little existential. A frog with feelings.
Gooby packs up his troubles and sets off to find a better home — somewhere warm, green, and absolutely stuffed with snacks.
He finds a lush swamp bursting with fruit and gorges himself silly: "the most delicious food I have ever eaten!" Gobble, gobble, slurp.
Belly full, heart at peace, Gooby leans back and decides the universe is basically fine. His whole philosophy fits in a bubble: life is good.
Gooby leaps out of the comic and onto Robinhood as a community coin. Same frog, same fruit, same motto — now with a ticker. Life is good.
Pages from the lost comic
Once upon a swamp, Gooby left his woeful past behind, found a home among the trees, and gorged himself on the most delicious fruits he'd ever eaten.
His whole philosophy fits in a speech bubble: "Life is good!" A little weird, a little existential — exactly the energy a memecoin needs.
"Bless my sad soul! What a strange place this is!" — Gooby, wandering into a swamp more wonderful and weird than anything in his little books.
Storybook landscapes, a shy tadpole who loved books more than swimming, and jokes that get weirdly philosophical. That's the flavor of $GOOBY — and somehow, still: life is good.
Where the frog comes from

Matt Furie created Pepe the Frog in 2005 for his comic Boy's Club. While Robert Crumb's underground 1960s comics and various pop-culture styles influenced Furie's overall artistic aesthetic, Pepe himself was an original creation rather than an adaptation of a specific character named "Gooby."
$GOOBY simply tips its hat to that scrappy, hand-inked underground lineage — a weird little frog with a big, cozy heart.

Pull up a lily pad. The swamp never sleeps — it just blows bubbles, posts memes, and waits for the next believer to hop in.
